Guild room

In Inkubio’s guild room inkubites can come together to play games, relax and spend time with one another. Occasionally people also do school work there, and often times you can receive a helping hand in a tough exercise. The school also offers a lot of workspace so usually people just relax in the guild room.

From the guild room you can also purchase Inkubio’s overall badges (2e/pc), our own songbook VIRPI (6e/pc) and the guild’s History-book (25e/pc) that was released for the decennial celebrations of Inkubio.  The purchases can be done with cash when a board member is present.

The guild room is located in Aalto University’s Undergraduate Centre at Otakaari 1 in the room Y134 (next to the student hub). Students of Aalto University can apply to receive a 24/7 access key to the guild room. 

Services in the guild room

Things that can be found in the guild room and the kitchen next door:

• A coffee maker, water heater and coffee and tea. (20 cents a cup, remember to wash your cup!)
• Snack bar with a credit system, including noodles, chocolate bars and much more.
• Fridge with a freezer compartment and a microwave oven (mark your own foods!).
• 42” TV, Playstation 1 & 2, Wii U.
• Videogames: Tekken 3, Crash Team Racing and Smash 4
• Boardgames: Munchkin, MTG-decks, Yatzy
• A computer with internet access
• Loudspeakers that are connected to the aforementioned computer. The guild has its own Spotify Premium account that you can use to play music in the guild room.
• The newest Cosmopolitan and Donald Duck -cartoon and our beloved guild magazine S’napsi.
• Electric sockets for charging your electronics
• Guild members of all ages!

 

Alumni Bell

On the grand opening of the new guild room on 2.9.2016 Inkubio’s alumni association BioDI gave the Alumni Bell as a gift to the guild. You can only ring the bell if you have graduated as a M.Sc (Tech).
