Master’s Programme in Life Science Technologies

Master’s Programme in Life Science Technologies (LST) was established in 2015. The program offers six majors:

  • Bioinformatics and Digital Health
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Biosensing and Bioelectronics
  • Biosystems and Biomaterials Engineering
  • Complex Systems
  • Human Neuroscience and Technology

The program consists of 60-65 ECTS of major studies, 15 of which are common for all LST students. The degree program also includes elective studies (25 – 30 ECTS) and a Master’s thesis (30 ECTS). The program home page and study guides are found in Into: All students who have graduated from the Bachelor’s degree program in Bioinformation Technology are admitted to any of the majors with no extra requirements.

Other Master’s programmes

Students who have completed the Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformation Technology are also eligible to apply for all Master’s programs of the School of Electrical Engineering. More information of the programs is found at
