Congratulations on your study place as a master’s or exchange fuksi – and most importantly, welcome to the best guild in Otaniemi, Inkubio!

To start off
Download Telegram, and join this Telegram group for master’s and exchange students starting in the autumn of 2026 and spring 2027, where you can freely chat and ask questions about anything. In addition, there is a separate International Captain’s info channel where your captain will post all the important updates so you won’t miss a thing. If you’re a Master’s student in Life Science Technologies, join the LifeTech group to chat with your fellow Master’s students and get information about LifeTech events.
Orientation week and head start
Put orientation week (24-28 August) in your calendar, it’s a week full of events and orientation before the official start of school. Also keep Saturday, 15 August, free for the head start event, where you’ll get an early taste of the autumn fun and a chance to meet your fellow fuksis and tutors before orientation begins. The kickstart takes place at Alvari Square, next to the Undergraduate Centre (Otakaari 1) in Otaniemi, starting at 14:00.
Fuksi Guide 2026
The following autumn, you will be presented with a lot of new information in a really short period of time. Lucky for you, I have gathered all the most important information in a handy guide - Fuksi Guide! The Fuksi Guide 2026 can be found here. Please take your time to read it carefully through before Autumn's orientation, and the future you will thank you for it. So grab a snack and a fresh summery drink and go explore the secrets of the Finnish student life from the Fuksi Guide.

If needed, apply for student housing through AYY (https://domo.ayy.fi/) or HOAS.
Download the FRANK app to access student discounts, and make sure to register as an attending student at the university by July 31 at the latest.
